Doug Pardo

Founder, Executive Coach

Doug is a veteran, executive coach, and founder of LionPoint Coaching.

From his first days at the United States Military Academy at West Point, Doug was drawn to the study and practice of leadership. While serving as an officer and Apache pilot with the 101st Airborne Division during combat deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq, Doug came to understand that operating at one’s potential was not an aspiration but a necessity.

Doug’s front-line combat experience prepared him for high-stress, complex corporate environments. He has a deep understanding of how to operate in mission-critical situations.

After graduating from Columbia Business School, Doug served in executive, management, and strategy roles for Bridgewater Associates and Booz & Company. Since 2016 he has been a Senior Executive Coach with Talentism.

Doug founded LionPoint Coaching in 2020 to formalize his vision for leader-centric, results-targeted potential building.

As an executive coach, Doug coaches dozens of C-level executives and founders of pre-IPO companies tasked with rapidly expanding their teams while simultaneously preserving and enhancing their culture, vision, and mission. He has worked with senior leaders as they've reached critical milestones. He’s advised clients through the post-exit transition and integration effort.

Doug regularly advises other executive coaches, non-profits, business leaders, and veterans. He mentors current cadets and plays a similar role in the lives of veterans running for political office, transitioning from the military, or progressing in their careers.

A New York native who makes his home in the Boston area with his wife and daughter, Doug readily acknowledges that his most important role as a “coach” is as a father: “No experience has taught me more about the significance of actualizing potential than raising a child who will one day play her own role in helping humankind move closer to realizing its potential.”.
